Course Objectives


·      To understand the basic philosophy of yoga as a holistic approach 

·      To learn the rules, fundamentals, skills & strategies of yoga.

·      To learn how to correctly execute required skills and techniques as well as to use the equipment/props safely.

·      To learn and practice the Eight limbs & meridian points of Yoga 

·      To teach basic to advance asanas and parana practice for weight and stress reduction 

·      To develop insight of yogic diet and lifestyle 

·      To increase personal pace and body awareness 

·      To teach the anatomy  and contraindication various asanas (postures) using hatha yoga & the vinyasa flow.

·       To learn breathing techniques for mindfulness and immunity 

·       To improve physical & mental strength, flexibility and the sense of well-being.

·       To Increase self awareness & realization .

·      To enhance emotional stability and mental clarity

·      To Demonstrate basic skills associated with postures , breathings & mudras.

·      To efficiently perform  different types of yoga movements in various combination and forms.

·      To create and practice various yoga sequences for self and group practices

·      To Assess current personal fitness levels

·      To achieve mental hygiene through mindfulness and meditation techniques

·      To implement the understanding of Eight limbs of Yoga in everyday living 

·      To use different type of props and equipment of yoga effectively 

·      To secure more physical and mental strength, flexibility and immunity
